The Marketing Minute – What Do Your Clients Want Most?
I saw an interesting survey recently published by Spectrem Group. While Spectrem focuses on market research for the financial advisory industry, this survey really applies to any trusted advisor.
When asked how advisors can improve their relationship, surveyed clients had three requests:
92% – Call me back quickly
83% – Make time for me
71% – Remember details about me and my family
Clients also requested more “interesting articles and information.”
Simple, right? When was the last time you delayed a callback until Monday so you could make that Friday happy hour, or prioritized a lucrative prospect meeting over a long-term client? I’m sure there are many other factors that impact an advisory relationship, but why not make sure you’ve got the customer service fundamentals covered. Clients remember.
